LOOP brings folk, roots and Americana artists to the heart of Shrewsbury throughout the year, from established touring acts to emerging artists and new discoveries.

Our folk programme stretches beyond traditional folk, taking in contemporary folk, folk-rock, Americana, acoustic music, Celtic music and roots artists from the UK and further afield. With a capacity of just 250, LOOP offers the chance to see touring artists in an intimate live setting just moments from Shrewsbury Railway Station.

Shrewsbury has a thriving folk music scene, from local musicians and grassroots shows to the internationally recognised Shrewsbury Folk Festival each summer. At LOOP, we’re building a year-round programme of folk and roots gigs, bringing artists to the town throughout the seasons.
