Live Music at LOOP
LOOP is an independent 250-capacity venue bringing touring artists, emerging bands and some of the best grassroots talent to the heart of Shrewsbury.
There’s no single sound here. Our programme moves between indie, punk and rock, folk and roots, ska and reggae, metal, electronic music and plenty that doesn’t fit neatly into a genre. Some nights you’ll know exactly who you’ve come to see; others might introduce you to your new favourite band.
Alongside established touring artists, we’re committed to giving emerging and local acts a proper stage. Supporting grassroots music is a big part of why LOOP exists, and every ticket bought helps us keep bringing more live music to Shrewsbury.

LOOP is also home to artist development, live recording and community projects, and is run by the team behind LOOPFEST, Shrewsbury’s multi-venue music festival.
We’re building a venue that connects local artists and audiences with the wider touring circuit — somewhere to see great bands in a proper, intimate live setting.
