Access is extremely important to us and we believe all events should be accessible for everyone to enjoy. However, due to LOOPFEST being held in multiple venues across Shrewsbury, many of which are old buildings we can’t guarantee access to all events. We have a page for each venue that explains access available.

General Access Info

Access to LOOP Venue is via two steps from pavement level, with a further two steps to reach the main stage viewing area. A portable ramp is available to provide step-free access where required.

If you have any accessibility requirements relating to standing or queuing, please contact us using the form below and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Given the nature of the venue, including high noise levels, crowds and live music, we would generally discourage customers from bringing assistance dogs to shows or during particularly busy periods. Please contact us in advance if you require an assistance dog so we can discuss your access requirements and how best to accommodate you.

We offer a complimentary Essential Companion ticket for customers who are unable to attend an event safely or independently without the support of another person.

This is an access provision rather than a general 2-for-1 ticket offer, and complimentary tickets are limited to one Essential Companion per eligible customer.

Please purchase your own standard event ticket first, then apply for an Essential Companion ticket using the form below. We may ask for reasonable evidence that you require substantial support in order to attend. We accept a valid Access Card displaying the +1 symbol as evidence of this requirement.

We understand that not everyone will have an Access Card or the same documentation, so applications can also be considered individually where appropriate.

Essential Companion tickets are subject to availability and should be requested in advance of the event.

Our website has been designed to be as accessible as possible for customers who may have difficulty accessing visual information.

If you have difficulty accessing audible information, please contact us in advance using any of the written communication methods available through our website.

We do not currently have an audio enhancement or hearing loop system installed at LOOP.

If you have an access requirement that may affect your experience of a performance, including hearing, sensory or communication requirements, please contact us in advance. We will do our best to discuss the available options and make reasonable adjustments where possible.

Customers are welcome to bring essential medication, medical equipment, or food and drink required to manage a medical condition into the venue.

If you have any particular requirements or concerns, please contact us in advance so we can help make your visit as straightforward as possible.

If you require assistance or experience a medical emergency while at LOOP, please speak to a member of venue or security staff immediately.

Strobe lighting, flashing lights and other stage lighting effects may be used during performances and events at LOOP.

If you have concerns about lighting effects at a particular event, please contact us in advance and we will provide any information available about the planned production.
